From manufacturer’s point of view the affliction clothing styles t-shirts use a wide range of special production treatment for effects. Washing methods like vintage wash, acid wash and bleach wash are used amid with destroyed hems on neckline and sleeves. On the other hand, puff printing (aka 3D printing) is often added as a second layer on base printing to make an extraordinary design.
Those print-on-demand t-shirt stores won’t be able to produce this kind of shirt. For one thing those stores ink-jet printer while affliction shirts need screen-printing. Screen printing means that each color is separately printed steadfastly and permanently onto the shirt, ensuring a long-lasting best quality print.
We have been supporting a few tattooists converting their own design of graphics into print of shirts. They see that putting their graphics on shirts not only add an advantage commercially, but also a great way to get their unique designs exposed to a greater audience.
Most of these affliction shirts use special wash treatment. It gives both pattern differences as well as shade differences between every t-shirt making every one as unique as a persons fingerprint. There may be small holes in a garment after washes. That is an intentional part of the look and feel of this “aged” style making the fabric soft and very comfortable to wear, just like your oldest favorite T-shirt that you have washed a million times.
We are making them at MOQ>30 per design. The unit price typically falls in the range of US$10-20 a piece, very much depending on complexity of your design features. Retail selling price of these tees are often in the range of US$30-50.
