Solid “starter kit” of a bag, with one serious flaw I read a lot of reviews on this item before I wrote this so I could have some perspective on what’s important in a pack. Overall, this pack is great. I’ve been ordering Blackhawk items since I had to get it out of their catalog back in the 90’s, and I’ve always been a fan.As a daypack, light hiker, or carry-on item, I give it 5 stars. It has plenty of to be it’s own two-to-three day travel pack, and if you’re headed out to the bush its got plenty of molle webbing and anchor points…

This bag is great on paper: ultra lightweight, hydration-pack compatible, relatively small in profile for its carrying volume, lots of great modular features (MOLLE loops, tie-down loops, etc), and solid construction of durable material.
