Decent I am comparing these pants to the Cherokee brand I got from Target. The good:The knee reinforcement is a solid patch inside the knee; it may peel a bit but it doesn’t catch the foot on the way down like the side-to-side band sewn into the Cherokees. The material is durable, if a bit stiff, and the pants look ironed even though they are not.The pants are plenty long enough for the size, which is great for my tall son. The waist seems proportionate…

Slim size is much too slim I ordered these for my son who wears a slim size 4. Gymboree and Wal-mart pants/jeans in Slim 4 all fit him well but usually still need to be adjusted to the tightest fit, due to his extremely small waist. Unfortunately, these pants did not fit around his waist at all, as they were too “slim” even for him. I can’t imagine how they would fit any child, if my son can’t wear them. The length was true to his size, but he was never able to wear the pants because he couldn’t zip or fasten them…
